Through the research and practice of the non-musical instrumental objects, to explore its hidden music acoustic potential. Using the sound processing technology program programmed in Max/Msp, give the non-musical instrument object new sound ability, ultimately the different elements of the sound characteristics of integration, resulting in a new “musical instrument”. This work by combining video, sound, lighting and other elements to expand the art space.
透过对非传统乐器物体的研究与实践发挥,发掘出其隐藏的声学潜力。利用Max/Msp中创作的程序,对其声学潜力进行发掘,并赋予非乐器物件新的声音能力,最终将不同元素的声音特质进行融和,产生出全新的“乐器”。作品通过结合视频、声音、灯光等元素扩展整个作品的艺术空间。
Composer is live electronics performer, i will
have:
- MacBook Pro with Mac Os X 10.9.5 with Max patch and Arena patch.
- 4channel audio interface: AVID Mbox Pro (input and output on jack TRS).
- MIDI controller (with pedal).
- Mini DisplayPort to VGA(or HDMI) adapter
- ENTTEC USB-DMX Converter
- MYO Gesture control armband
- Contact Microphones*2
- USB Infrared Touch Screen (UDP)
Organizer should provide following equipment:
- 4 speakers (Quadro).
- Mixing console (minimum 4 inputs, 4 outputs).
- TRS jack cables (minimum 8).
- Projector (with VGA/HDMI) and projection screen (or other display device).
- DMX512 controller moving head lamp*2
